Elmwood Tech–Creative Accelerator Hub to Launch in September

Elmwood, the world’s most effective brand design consultancy, announces that its 12-week accelerator programme, Elmwood LaunchPod will now launch in September 2018. As a result, it has extended the deadline for applications to July and encourages STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and maths) entrepreneurs innovating in consumer health to take part in this unique project.

Sarah Dear, managing partner at Elmwood and managing director of Elmwood LaunchPod, commented: “The accelerator programme offers promising health-focused entrepreneurs the support they need to accelerate their ideas, propelled by the power of design.

“As part of the application process and the positive feedback we’ve received so far on the LaunchPod, we have decided to run the programme from September. This provides potential applicants the opportunity to learn more about the programme and benefit from more time to apply.”

Offering support to the next generation of entrepreneurs who are already hard at work to bring emerging ideas to market that will lead the way in consumer health experiences, Elmwood LaunchPod is focused on supporting creative and technology start-ups at the organisation’s HQ in Leeds, UK. By bringing businesses from across the STEAM disciplines into their community, the programme will shape the direction of businesses who are innovating how people manage their health to improve their quality of life.

Participants will benefit from a dedicated programme, receiving insight, mentoring and management support from a world-class community of specialists. Access to large corporate clients in the area of consumer health management will also be available.

Those interested can learn more and apply at launchpod.elmwood.com. Applications for the programme will now close on Monday 23rd July or as soon as the programme has been filled.
