By @SimonCocking. The innovative Egis Projects Ireland have partnered with 33 entrepreneurs to manage their first Startup Contest on May 24th in Dublin.
The International startup accelerator will detect, select and propose for a battleground 20 promising startups. 7 will have the opportunity to pitch in front of the Jury composed of Egis experts, 33entrepreneurs partners and Irish Tech News.
33entrepreneurs, is relying on its experience—more than 45 international startup contests so far—to detect, evaluate and select the most promising startups for Egis Projects Ireland.
“Bringing together such leading players as Egis with startups and create the condition for sustainable partnership is really enthusiastic. We are offering our in-depth knowledge of startups to Egis and believe that digital innovation will improve users’ mobility experience”,
announces Vincent PRETET, CEO of 33entrepreneurs.
Startups will have until May 23rd to apply to the event.
The startups will be evaluated and selected by 33entrepreneurs to get the chance for 20 of them to participate to the battleground on May 24th in Dublin (Clontarf Castle Hotel, Castle Avenue, Dublin 3). From 9 am to 4 pm, the Jury members will have qualitative reviews of each project. After 5 minutes of presentation and a Q&A session with the Jury, only 7 startups will have the opportunity to pitch on stage. During the final from 5:30 pm to 7 pm, the audience of internal employees will be invited to vote for their favorite startups.
Two winning startups will be rewarded each with €10,000 and will work closely with Egis to test in real conditions the concept. By this event, Egis Projects Ireland confirms its ambition to work alongside startups in good intelligence and engage into commercial agreements.
Egis Projects Ireland is constantly imagining creative solutions to enhance its customer services experience. “We are thrilled and impatient to discover the pre-selection of 33entrepreneurs and share with startups the last promising trends for mobility actors”, says Steve PREECE, Managing Director at Egis Projects Ireland.
