The Educational Company of Ireland (Edco) has announced the 10,000th download of its Leaving Cert Answers App. As part of the drive to reach this milestone, Edco had been running a competition, with the prize going to the 10,000th downloader.
The winner of the competition was Sarah Taylor who received a prize of €300 worth of shopping vouchers.
“We are absolutely delighted to have reached 10,000 downloads and believe our Leaving Cert Answers App is an invaluable exam revision tool for students. We would like to thank all the students who downloaded the app and hope they found it extremely helpful,” said Martina Donnelly, Assistant Marketing Manager, Edco
The App contains over 1,000 expert sample answers to 10 years of past exam questions, for six Leaving Cert subjects, including English (H), Biology (H), French (H), Geography (H), Irish (O) and Business (H). The App also contains a full breakdown of marking schemes, hints and tips, suggested timings for answers, a search tool and a bookmark function. It is also available offline.
Students can download the App free of charge from the iOS App Store.
