Doro, the leading global supplier of telecommunication solutions for seniors, and telecoms provider, Vodafone Ireland, have announced that the Doro 7030 handset will launch on the Vodafone Ireland network. As a result, senior Vodafone users across Ireland will gain access to Doro’s unique and inclusive technology.
The phone is now available via Vodafone Ireland from €89.99. By adding this handset to its range, Vodafone will boost its senior offering across the region, keeping older users connected at a time when it matters most.
The range of functions and operating concepts of the model makes it uniquely suited to meet the needs of the over 65s – a demographic that is often forgotten by phone manufacturers. The phone combines Doro’s sleek, Scandinavian design with the brand’s proven usability and high-quality sound.
Doro 7030: Clamshell feature phone
The Doro 7030 is an easy-to-use feature phone with a clamshell design. It is 4G and WiFi enabled, with WhatsApp and Facebook preinstalled. This allows users to stay connected with their loved ones, whatever their preferred communications habits may be.
Doro 7030 features:
GPS-enabled Response button and compatibility with the new Response by Doro service – giving the user peace of mind, wherever they may be
Loud, clear sound with HAC
Facebook and WhatsApp preinstalled
Easy-to-read display and text
Easy-to-use camera, with a new built in front-facing camera
Large, clear buttons
Headphone jack with USB charging port
The Doro 7030 is compatible with the new Response by Doro service which can be activated simply by pressing the Response button on the back of the phone:
Response by Doro – a free to use feature on compatible Doro phones that alerts pre-selected Responders simultaneously and shares a GPS location of the senior user in the event of an emergency.
Via the Response by Doro app, Doro 7030 users can gain access to further features, one of which allows loved ones and relatives to adjust settings on a user’s phone remotely, from their own iOS or Android device. It provides added comfort for both the senior and their relatives, giving a third party the ability to supply extra support to a user. This could be in the form of anything from changing the display’s font size to adjusting their screen brightness or ringtone volume.
