Free Webinar De-risk Your Migration to a Hybrid Cloud Solution

Interxion and their partners HPE GreenLake are hosting a free webinar on December 8 at 14:00 to highlight how you can de-risk your migration to a hybrid cloud solution.

We spoke to Interxion to find out more about the free webinar and what people can expect from attending.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

Hybrid Cloud is now accepted to be the optimum approach for enterprises to realise their digital transformation objectives. Together HPE and GreenLake are offering customers the ability to embrace a more cost-effective and reduced risk model for on their unique journey to a hybrid cloud environment.

For the majority of organisations, their existing infrastructure and data centre capabilities restrict their ability to adapt and shift as the economic climate demands. To succeed in today’s environment organisations need to modernise applications, infrastructure and adopt a hybrid cloud strategy.

This is difficult to do when the Enterprise on-premise infrastructure is fixed and the costs and time delays associated with implementing the required data centre and connectivity changes, to truly harness the flexibility of a cloud strategy drain the organisation of much-needed capital.

To help you gain control of your security, costs and compliance without investing in your own data centre, you can deploy HPE GreenLake Cloud services in Interxion’s colocation centres to reach the global markets that expand with your business. Interxion will help you safeguard mission-critical data taking into account your security needs, operational reliability, cost and compliance without consuming capital and taking on the operational overhead associated with your own data centre.

What will be discussed at the event?

During the webinar, Interxion and HPE will explain how to de-risk your migration to a hybrid cloud architecture. We discuss how, by working together, we provide a flexible deployment model for customers as they transition workloads from private data centres to hybrid cloud and public cloud platforms.

John Stone, Interxion and Davin Cody, HPE talk about how to improve speed and agility by increasing connectivity to public clouds while staying in control of costs, security and compliance.

The speakers introduce a bridging function between the customers own premises, colocated private cloud with low latency public cloud on-ramps to allow workloads to be moved into and out of chosen cloud service providers at will.

As a customer you now have the best of all worlds, your workloads can reside within your private data centre, be transitioned to a co-located private cloud from where you can choose from a multitude of service providers, ISPs and direct cloud connectivity options of your choice while having the HPE GreenLake solution offering a utility-based capacity-on-demand model for your compute, storage, networking and security requirements.

Through the use of automation tools, enterprise customers can choose where, when and how the different cloud service options are utilized within the business while allowing user, client and customer access from the office, home or on a mobile basis.

Why should people attend?

If you are in the planning stage of your unique hybrid cloud journey then this webinar comes at the right time for you. While John and Davin are both technical this webinar is targeted towards a wider group than just a technical audience.

The speakers provide real-life examples of conversations they are having with customers which will be extremely educational.
