Pitching CurveBlock and The Importance of Networking at the Monaco Blockchain Conference on May 31st With Gary Woodhead

With Gary Woodhead, CEO of Curveblock.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

We’re currently working with our collaborator the NatWest Bank Accelerator on all areas of CurveBlock whilst continuing to build relationships and networks associated with CurveBlock’s vision, we’re also in the process of applying for SEIS/EIS investor tax relief certification before launching on Seedrs crowdfunding platform.

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

What worked well was showing the world how CurveBlock will be a game changer for the average person to be able to invest in real estate developments and no longer be chained to poor performing bank savings accounts offering very little returns if any, unlike real estate developing which has average returns of 20% to 40% ROI.

What didn’t work well for us was raising funds from the Blockchain space due to the bear market which retraced around 90% and caused most people to stop investing, thankfully people outside of the blockchain space who understand real estate did invest in CurveBlock.

What are your plans for the future?

To continue our journey showing the world how CurveBlock removes the entry barrier for the average person to be able to invest in real estate developments, an investment class which has historically being the playground of the rich and institutions.

What will you be talking about at this event? (brief taster)

Firstly we’re at the event to pitch CurveBlock in great detail to the family offices attending the event who know and understand real estate and potentially want the opportunity to invest and partner with CurveBlock, secondly, we’ll be networking before and after the event to stimulate and grow CurveBlock’s relationship with like-minded people.

What inspired you to attend it?

The event has like-minded people in the room who have made their wealth or hold their wealth within the real estate sector and fully understand why CurveBlock has endless opportunities, and finally the old networking saying, there’s a deal to be had in every room.

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?

We follow many influencers such as James Caan CBE, Thomas Power, Dinis Guarda, Michael Novogratz & Tim Draper to name but a few.

How can people find out more about what you are working on?

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

We’re the first STO in the U.K. to pass a Traditional Banks due diligence and be placed into the NatWest Bank Accelerator, and finally, CurveBlock has also been nominated for Disrupter of the year in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2019.

CurveBlock is a Centralised Exchange which allows token holders to stake their tokens against Real Estate Developments for a share of the profits once built and sold.

Your profits (revenue) are paid via a secondary stable token to avoid market volatility or in fiat.

Your tokens can stay staked against all developments for continued passive income. The CurveBlock exchange will offer liquidity should you need to cash out. CurveBlock will provide a smart contract staking wallet, powered by Blockchain.

CurveBlock won’t be wasting money to get listed on other exchanges, removing the risk of market manipulators damaging the value of your tokens via questionable trading activities. 5% of every Development will be donated to CurveBlock Helps our nonprofit charity, and the recipients of the assistance will be chosen by you.
