When and where is it on?
June 5-6 2020, Online
How many years has it been going?
It is its fifth edition and for the first time it is going online.
First of all, what is the Creative Women Conference?
Creative Women Conference is part of a special Creative Women Platform which was created in 2016 to unite women from all around the world and help them to develop their creativity. The Platform holds an annual event which was taking place in Cyprus every year and for the first time is taking place online as this is the only way of bringing together so many international speakers in these challenging times.
Who is behind the conference?
The conference is arranged by Creative Women and international events company Ensemble Productions and our Patron is the First lady of Cyprus, Mrs. Andri Anastasiades.
What was the inspiration to start it?
After being awarded at a women’s award event I felt I had to give something back and being a creative person, I also felt that emphasis on creativity and its positive effect on business and success is something which have not been discussed and explored enough. Creative women/s motto is exactly to focus on creativity which will make you achieve your goals.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
First of all we have an amazing variety of speakers from different countries and with different expertise who will be sharing their opinions on many important now subjects, ladies who are top speakers and ladies who normally do not appear as speakers and at this conference it will be a rare opportunity to benefit from their wisdom and professional secrets, and apart from presentations and panels we will have artistic appearances by internationally known artists and even an after party where online we will try to unite and enjoy the results of our fruitful conference.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
The attendees will have access to the full programme of the conference and will be able to ask questions most of the speakers.

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
The tip would be to go open minded, try to attend as much as possible as every presentation and every speaker will bring something very valuable and new to learn from and be engaged in questions as this way, they will benefit the most.
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
https://creativewomen.co/tickets/
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
We will be including artistic performances by established musicians and dancers also live on zoom and an after-party led by a famous designer – DJ Masha Tsigal will take place at the end of the conference. All on zoom for our audience to enjoy. We would have to be creative about networking obviously in these new circumstances and we have our ways of allowing access of our audiences to the speakers and other attendees. The networking is going on.
You’ve made the decision to move the event online. Was June 5-6 the original dates?
Yes, the dates will remain, and the conference will happen online as this is the way to make it happen taking into consideration the nature of the event.
How have you prepared for an online conference? How will the presentations take place?
It is a new challenge, but we will be able to present an exciting programme with 2 full days of presentations when our speakers in zoom format will be talking to the audience live, showing their presentations and will be able to answer questions from the audience as well. We will also be able to hold panel discussions when different speakers will be sharing opinion on a particular subject.
Part of the programme is a networking session and an after party. How will these happen online?
Yes, we will be including artistic performances by established musicians and dancers also live on zoom and an after-party led by a famous designer-DJ Masha Tsigal will take place at the end of the conference. All on zoom for our audience to enjoy. We would have to be creative about networking obviously in these new circumstances and we have our ways of allowing access of our audiences to the speakers and other attendees. The networking is going on.
Is the conference open to all women internationally?
It is a totally international conference with the speakers and attendees coming from literally all over the world, Europe, Middle East, Russia, United States, Africa and Asia and this mix is just amazing and so beneficial for everyone.
How does it feel to hold an online conference? What are you looking forward to and what are some of your concerns?
We have to stay positive especially we have conducted several successful online webinars recently and the whole world is doing the same. People have to adapt and learn quickly. As much we try to provide a full programme of presentations, panels, interactive sessions and performances, a feel of a real live networking will be missing but since it is for everyone the same now, we have to accept and benefit from what we can create at the moment. We have to be creative.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Just few words from myself as the Founder: Olga Balakleets – ‘ I am determined to make a success of our event again which started on the island of Aphrodite and unite all the creative female minds around the world’.
