Who are we speaking to, what is your role with Quasa?

My name is Slava Vasipenok, I am the founder and CEO of QUASA – a blockchain platform for connecting people.

Is it a logical path to what you do now?

In 1999, while studying at Moscow Tsiolkovsky University, I created my first company X-PAY, in 2005 it was bought out by my partners. In the same year, I became a co-founder of the Geodesic and Geological Service of Geo Garant LLC. In 2013, this project was also bought from me by partners. In 2013, I joined the logistics company ACEX.

I became a development manager. In 5 years, it has become the largest logistics alliance. And I was the leader and co-organizer of this union.
In 2017, I founded QUASA – a blockchain platform for connecting people!
I am attracted and inspired by the future in which the problems of millions and hundreds of millions of people left without means of livelihood will be solved with the help of the QUASA service.

What does Quasa do / how does it use blockchain / who does it help?

The QUASA platform is being created to solve the biggest problem facing humanity, namely to solve the problem of unemployment, so that people can find a job they love, provide for themselves and their families.

Constant work for a salary becomes an anachronism. Many work for themselves, collaborating with several clients at once. And the facts show that most of these performers had a permanent place of work, and part-time work took no more than 20% of their personal time.

With the advent of the “new reality”, we will see a diametrically opposite picture, in which 80% of the time will be devoted to freelancing. This stage in the development of a work culture is characterized by the active use of online platforms that allow you to quickly select an adequate professional performer.

In response to consumer demand, many consumer service platforms have emerged to provide centralized quality management. These platforms faced a crisis of confidence as centralized governance does not guarantee 100% transparency.

Archaic centralized management is the cornerstone of their business. Without control from the center or their central servers, where all information is concentrated, such companies simply cannot exist.

We understand that in today’s world there can be no sustainable business model that cannot be 100% trusted and that can be turned off with just one button. The era of open, decentralized platforms like QUASA is coming.

Through the transition to blockchain and the use of artificial intelligence, we are creating a new environment, revolutionizing daily work. Our solution requires complex technologies, but our vision is quite simple:

Imagine a fully integrated system – from production or the moment a task is placed – to the execution or delivery of the finished product to the customer’s doorstep.

Now imagine that the entire system is integrated using artificial intelligence into decentralized distributed applications and transparent smart contracts. And this is QUASA – a reliable way to take care of yourself

How have the last two years been?

For two years, there have been dramatic changes. A year and a half ago, even before the pandemic, we made a turn that completely changed the business profile of our company, we chose a direction that, in our opinion, is more focused on people and their needs. That is why we create a platform where you can find a contractor to do any job or find a job.

Now we are even more confident that we made the right choice. We are all at a turning point in history, today millions, hundreds of millions of people are already losing their jobs every day. Pandemic, automation and digitalization are further reinforcing this process and freeing huge masses of people. People should do things that not only feed them but also make sense in life. And it is for them that we create a platform on which they can unite in the search, ordering and execution of any work.

What is Quasa up to now?

We create algorithms that will work effectively in any conditions. They will allow to simulate the semantic features of a particular person, as well as our own training module on recognizing intentions, entities, keywords, which will make a detailed analysis of the user’s personality. The neural network will provide unprecedented quality in defining the types of interpersonal and business interactions. Not only the personality, but also the professional skills of a particular specialist will be confirmed automatically.

If a person got a job in a certain area, for example, repairing air conditioners, then the system will automatically determine the degree of his compliance with this category of work. Artificial neural networks will form a virtual profile of a person by analyzing and compiling direct data provided by themselves and data obtained from indirect sources such as public databases.

Over the past 120 years, labor productivity has grown 25 times, and we work 5 days a week and work, but this is not for long. Robots, artificial intelligence and smart contracts will remove 80% of jobs by 2030. The structure of the business will radically change in the near future. For several years, people will be surrounded by digital assistants, ready to fulfill any of our requests.

Many specialties will simply become unnecessary. But we will need those who figure out how to make the world a better place, those who create new businesses and become entrepreneurs. Anything that can be digitized will be digitized. It is impossible to digitize entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship in the 21st century is the most valuable, or rather priceless product. It is for entrepreneurs that the QUASA ecosystem is being created.

What are your plans for the rest of 2021 & beyond?

Our action plan provides for the launch of the platform in late 2021 – early 2022 and in the first year the revenue will be from $ 100 thousand, in five years $ 65 million with a profit of 10%. Of course, we hope for more impressive growth.

Who or what inspired Quasa?

Most likely, the feeling of changes, as it were, hovering in the air, associated with the development of technology and digitalization pushed us to the realization that many people will lose their jobs, and we must move in this direction to provide people with more opportunities to earn money.

The beginning of the pandemic has accelerated many processes, including the growth of unemployment – and this confirmed us in the choice of this direction of development. That is why we have worked hard all this time and created such a platform, and soon we will be ready to release the first release.
