Coinaphoto partners with The Digital Hub for a photography challenge to capture the essence of Dublin 8

The Digital Hub has partnered with one of its enterprise companies Coinaphoto, for an exciting new photography challenge. The photography competition is open to everyone aged 18 and over and will showcase the entries to a global audience on Coinaphoto’s website. Themed ‘Dublin 8 is Great’ the photo challenge will focus on celebrating the spirit of the Liberties and wider Dublin 8 area through photographs.

All photos submitted to the ‘Dublin 8 is Great’ photo challenge will also be available to a wide range of buyers from across the world through Coinaphoto’s digital marketplace. The photo challenge lasts from October 9th to November 6th and the winners will be announced on November 16th. The winners of the photo challenge will have the chance to win prizes worth up to €550.

Having established their Dublin office at The Digital Hub campus in 2016, Coinaphoto is a vibrant global community and marketplace for real digital photography. This unique social media platform is designed to share locally relevant stock photography. It gives users the opportunity to earn money for their original photography and gives them a chance to win prizes through ongoing photo challenges.

Welcoming the collaboration with The Digital Hub, Shahab Mirza, Chief Executive Officer of Coinaphoto, said: “Coinaphoto prides itself on locally relevant social stock photography. Judges of the photo challenge will include Jim Dawson, Digital Design Executive at The Digital Hub, Jurate Tilmanaite, Strategic Partnerships Manager at Coinaphoto and Tim Bingham of Public Lens Street Photography.
