Chris also discusses Spark Crowfundings approach to attracting investors/investees as well speaking about the future of equity crowdfunding in Ireland and, after a very successful year, he discusses the year ahead and would make 2022 an even better year for Spark Crowdfunding.
About Chris
Christopher Burge is the CEO and co-founder of Spark Crowdfunding, before moving to Ireland in 2000, he worked around the world as an engineer, in places such as France, South Africa and the United States.
After moving to Ireland, he worked in a number of different businesses before deciding to start Spark Crowdfunding after seeing the rise of crowdfunding in the UK and the United States.

Shane is currently interning with Irish Tech News. He is in his third year of studying Journalism at NUI Galway where he also studies IT and has an interest in programming and web development.
He also likes to write about sport in his spare time. His main areas of interest are football, rugby and basketball. He is currently interning with Irish Tech News which will last for the duration of his third year in university.
