Hi, my name Cathrine (Kim) Chivhima, and I am the CEO of ZIPCOIN LLC, an ICO and Exchange that  is built on high performance E-OS blockchain technology.  Unlike Ethereum that brought the innovation of smart contracts, however it is not scalable.

E-OSO aims to allow for millions times more transactions per second  using Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), there are no miners involved, and does not has the concept of GAS fee so means our customers can save more more in their pockets.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?

Listen to your potential customer- what is working and what is not; do a lot of market analysis; partner with business leaders; engage your community and do everything right from the start.

Our team is very diverse and experience in areas of the African markets, finance, blockchain, legal, compliance and remit knowledge and are from all ethnic background.

What are your plans for the future?

Remittances to Africa cost far too much

• Continue partnering with various banks, telecom, retails, agents and payout locations and corner stores in the emerging African markets and beyond; disrupting “exclusive partnership” or “monopoly” mainly in remote and accessible places mean higher mark ups on such payments, and less money in the pockets of the rural poor.
• working with regulators and making these regulations less onerous would be worth the risks for ZIPCOIN—particularly for transactions of small amounts.
• Optimistic and completely move away from cash towards digital payments; our ZIPCO token utility is already bringing down cost of remittance.
• Continue building our trust with our customer base by having our community liaison managers on the ground; be our ears, eyes and be out there for them.
• Continue providing responsive customer service and focusing more on the receiving end of the remittance business. We can gather a lot of insights from this unforgotten customers of part of the remittance equation

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

My smartphone and ipad.

I love having a my iphone because I can make phone calls, send text messages, take pictures, read barcodes on groceries, reach out to our fans, connect to the internet and still fits in pocket.

It took some very clever people to fit all that technology into a little box with a touchscreen.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

Robots that will bring market analysis to us and ZIPCOIN leadership could make smart decisions at the tip of their hands

Anything else you’d like to add/we should have asked?

Well, while we have covered most of the important aspects already, there is one thing I really want you all to know. My love for E-OS blockchain technology and remittance business hasn’t been new. I always knew I would grow up to be a visionary and business leader. I feel blessed to have  ZIPCOIN as our platform to use to reach out to the poor. Most people who receives remittance are very poor and our mandate is to provide the lowest fee and have additional dollars send to the people who needs it the most.
