The company MySports GmbH belongs to a group of companies with currently 140 employees and is regarded as a pioneer in the digitalization of the fitness industry in Germany. The NoExcuse app from MySports gives athletes access to training and course plans in their gym and enables them to book services and get in touch with employees. The sister company Magicline GmbH is one of the leading providers of management software for fitness studios. The company’s software is used by 3,000 fitness studios in Germany, which corresponds to a market share of approx. 40%.

How are you different? / Why will you do well?

We’ve come a long way. We built an exceptional team of 140 employees with 40 software developers, secured 20 million euros in private equity investment for building the worlds leading gym management platform together with a viable ecosystem of services. Now that we have that in place we are using this as the kickstarter for the BEAT blockchain.

So that puts us in the front row of blockchain companies:

When was the company launched?

Magicline GmbH, the provider of management software for fitness studios, was founded back in 1988.

We began developing Magicline 2.0 in 2014 with a cloud first approach and incorporated MySports GmbH in 2016 to start the development of the app NoExcuse.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

We migrated more than 3,000 fitness studios from the on-premise software Magicline 1.0 to the cloud based software Magicline 2.0.

We built a partner ecosystem in the fitness industry, consisting of financial services and e-commerce. Although we just started, we are already managing a volume of 50 million Euro of receivables per year.

Who are you trying to attract to your product?

The BEAT Blockchain is the missing link in today’s world of vast data points that are generated in the sports and health industry.

We want BEAT to be the incorruptible safeguard for health and fitness data that seamlessly connects all the institutions, companies and people that can help leverage it.
