Kanum Thai is an authentic Thai food and noodle bar. Serving its customers with restaurant quality thai food at takeaway prices. Kanum uses only meats traceable directly back to the farm, fresh veg and zero MSG’s in creating its own unique dishes.
How are you different?
Kanum was one of the first to market in Thai casual eateries. Our team of Thai Chefs prepare all of our starters and sauces to Kanum’s receipe meaning our food stands out from the rest of our competitors. We are a family owned and operated business and I think this is reflected in our customer service approach.
Why will the company/product do well?
Great quality food coupled with fantastic customer service and at a price point our customers are willing to pay.

What type of people are you trying to attract to your product?
24-40 yr olds with disposable income and a knowledge of worldly foods.
Tell us about your team?
Marc Fitzharris- managing director, Niall Fitzharris-director, Breda Fitzharris-director. Daniel Duggan-general manager, Regina Loftus-assistant manager. Suwit Rangjob – executive head chef. Paddy Kelly- head of Events/festivals. 10 other highly qualified Chefs a number of prep chefs, fantastic team at front of house and our dedicated delivery drivers.
What are your long term plans for your product/company?
Expand the business with new locations both in Dublin and around the country. We are currently developing a ready meal product alongside Teagasc for sale in supermarkets. We are also looking at the possibility of Franchising the business in the near future.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
DJI Phantom 4 Drone (nothing to do with Kanum!) , Ipad and iphone where I run most of my business from.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
Robot/clone to take my place so I can go on holidays!
