By @SimonCocking. IVI Winter Summit, early bird registration closes on Friday November 18th, get tickets here.
Describe the event – the elevator pitch …
On December 14th and 15th IVI is bringing together some of the world’s leading IT and Academic experts for a 2-day Summit ‘Winning strategies for enabling the Digital Enterprise – secrets of successful CIOs and thought-leaders’. 2016 marks the 10th anniversary of IVI Summits as well as the joint-delivery of the International Conference for Information System’s (ICIS) ‘CIO Symposium’ on the 14th of December. We are delighted to have Daniel Lebeau, Group CIO of GSK as our industry keynote and Jeanne Ross from CISR – MIT Sloan providing the academic keynote.
Who will the event appeal to?
The event appeals to senior IT and business professionals, particularly the CIO and their team. Individuals managing significant organisational change and transformation will find the event of interest, especially if they are focusing on digital.
What inspired you to launch the event?
The event brings together individuals from global organisations with a common interest in the business value contribution from IT. Users of IVI’s research gather every year in a community style event to discuss how IVI’s offerings are helping them impact overall IT effectiveness as well as how IVI’s research keeps them abreast of the latest capabilities that their organisations should have; personal data protection being an example.
What worked well last year? What tweaks have you applied for the 2016 version?
The combination of thought leadership and real-life stories of the adoption of IVI’s IT Capability Maturity Framework (IT-CMF) worked extremely well and we are applying a similar approach this year. We find that informal and interactive panel discussions are a big attraction and are looking forward to our panels on ‘The Changing face of today’s CIO’ and ‘The top 3 predictions for the Digital Enterprise’. Attendees are always asking for greater networking time so we have built that well in to the 2 day agenda.
Where will people be coming from to attend this event?
Given the large number of global organisations adopting IT-CMF IVI Summits attract local and international attendees. The joint delivery of the ‘CIO Symposium’ with the ICIS conference will further increase the number of international attendees this year.
How can people find out more about it and buy tickets?
The full agenda can be viewed here including details on how to buy tickets, our early bird registration closes on Friday November 18th so we encourage people to register before then.
Anything else we should have asked / you’d like to add?
Ticket prices include a gala networking dinner the evening of December 14th in Medley Fleet Street East, an event our attendees look forward to year after year!
