forward2me’s primary service is parcel forwarding goods and products that you have purchased from UK and European online stores. British shops offer a vast range of products at very competitive prices but many do not offer international shipping or charge excessively for it. You have probably already found that many products are either not available where you live or are much cheaper in the UK or Europe. You can now use parcel forwarding to access one of the most competitive consumer markets in the world.

We forward lots of different types of items on a daily basis including fashion and footwear, trainers to the USA, vintage clothing from eBay, car parts, phones, laptops, bikes, furniture and equipment for the home and garden…to name a few…

The service works like this:

We provide a unique UK address when you sign up which you can use when ordering items from UK/EU based shopping websites and online sellers such as eBay.

When your goods arrive at your unique forward2me address we will let you know with an email and ask you to pay the forwarding fee based on the size and weight of the item. You can choose to pay and have the item forwarded immediately or ask us to hold it for you and ‘combine and repack’ it with other items that are still to arrive or that we already have. We charge an additional handling fee for this service but grouping items into one package can save significant amounts on shipping costs compared to sending everything individually.

Goods will be shipped with a high quality express international courier of your choice and tracked to your door. Customs duties, if applicable in your country, will be your responsibility.

How are you different?

1. Service quality

We are the ‘Highest independently rated’ forwarding company in the UK. In fact, we are the only forwarding company that has an independent customer review platform that we are aware of. We are so confident in the quality of service that we provide that we are happy to do this. These reviews are written only by customers that have used the service.

Our customer service people really care about helping customers and do all they can to solve every request we receive. This is so successful because they can walk into the warehouse and solve problems directly and instantly with our dedicated warehouse team.

2. Combine and Repack service

In order to get maximum value from international shipping it is usually cost effective to ship multiple packages at the same time. For example, you order items from, and and we consolidate them all into a single box and forward them to your international address. Using the ‘Combine & Repack’ service makes it more cost effective to buy cheaper items and send them together.

Some of our competitors say that they provide this service but all they do is send each package as it was received and ship it in one consignment i.e. the size of the shipment isn’t reduced so savings aren’t made.

3. Shipping of Dangerous Goods

Our staff are specially trained to pack and ship Dangerous Goods such as Perfumes, Batteries, Aerosols and Flammables. Available to most countries.


4. Bespoke large item shipping

Where items are bulky or heavy and therefore outside the standard shipping parameters forward2me will work with hauliers, couriers and freight forwarders to provide you with the most cost effective shipping method whether it’s office furniture Some items such as large TVs, bikes or car parts can require substantial repacking before they are safe for international shipping. Forward2me offers a comprehensive repack service including, where necessary, corrugated double walled shipping boxes. As the shipping costs can depend on the size as well as the weight of your parcel, we will also repack your items to reduce the size of your parcel if required, this will help to save you money on the shipping costs.


Why will the company / product do well?

People overseas genuinely want to buy in the UK. Lots of retailers and online sellers don’t offer an international shipping service or if they do it’s very often limited by country, product type or size/weight.


Since Brexit the cost of buying in the UK and shipping with us has plummeted with the fall in the value of the UK pound. This has further boosted already strong sales growth for forward2me. In particular we are seeing tremendous demand from the US which many people find surprising given that US residents already enjoy one of the broadest choice of goods as well as one of the most developed and competitive consumer shopping experiences in the world. It just shows that the UK offers good value, fantastic choice and a great customer experience.

The company was founded in 2010 and started trading in April 2011.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Regular business clients spending 10’s of thousands annually with us. Many of our business clients buy in bulk in the UK and then ship using our bespoke large item shipping service.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

Consumers and Small/Medium Business across the world outside of the UK.

We also offer a Retail Partner Programme to retailers and online sellers in the UK to help them market and sell their products overseas.

Our team is made up of local people with backgrounds as diverse as oil and catering industry – they all share a passion for service excellence.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

We’ll be launching a service in 2017 which will give UK retailers a direct shipping platform. This will enable them to ship overseas with quality couriers at more affordable prices.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

The most popular gadgets with our customers are Apple products – iPhones, iPads and the watch with other big names such as Samsung coming a close second.

We have also seen a huge increase in the purchase of ‘smart home’ tech over the last year with the most popular being the Samsung SmartThings being the most popular.

Delivery Drones and robots to help sort, store and deliver packages/something like this…
