Today, we take a look into Luke Fitzgerald’s SEO company RightFitz
Describe the company – the elevator pitch …
RightFitz is the SEO consultancy that drives increased organic visibility from which valuable traffic, leads, sales & revenue can flourish for your online business.
How are you different?
Integrity, hard work and a unique approach born of a wealth of industry experience makes the brand stand out from others in the Irish digital marketing consultancy space.
If ‘10,000 hours is Mastery’, RightFitz is like, “Double Mastery”, or something. A sense of humour helps!
Why will you do well?
A no-nonsense mentality and a focus on results and strong working relationships gives us an edge, and forward-thinking clients generally appreciate that. No ‘yes men’ here.
Where are you based?
Fully-remote, working from home in Churchtown, South County Dublin.
When was the company launched?
The business was founded on April Fools Day, 2020 (seriously).
What have been your biggest wins to date?
Amassing a steady stream of clients who’ve put their faith and the success of their business in my hands has been the greatest triumph of my career to date.
It’s been really humbling to deal with some of the people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and to be able to forge great working relationships and deliver meaningful results for them has been as close to ‘self-actualisation’ I’ve ever felt, in a professional sense.
Who are you trying to attract to your product?
For RightFitz, Business owners and like-minded entrepreneurs who know what they need (SEO) and who share a similar ethos towards forging long-lasting, mutually fruitful relationships as we grow together.
What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?
Never stop investing in the art of learning and pay forward what you’ve learnt to those who you can support along their own career paths.
More practically, get a good accountant and trust them to have your back when the good times start to roll!
Tell us about your team?
At Righfitz, I am a one-man-band, freelance digital marketing consultant so I don’t really have a ‘team’ as such.
I’m on the board of a couple of different partnerships and would like to consider myself a valuable member of the various client teams I’m fortunate to be included within as an external consultant, but there’s no singular makeup to a team dynamic, as I would’ve had throughout previous roles in my career.
That can be a double-edged sword in that I often miss the camaraderie and shared responsibilities of a team dynamic, but I also love the freedom and stress-free elements of goin’ solo!
What are your plans for the future?
No grand ambitions for now, I strive to continue working hard for my clients, affording me the flexibility to enjoy the fruits of my labour with my loved ones and appreciating what I have.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
Probably my Android TV; it’s the entertainment hub that (quite literally) keeps on giving and it’s probably saved a couple of lives during the course of the past year’s lockdown madness.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
I wish Alexa was a little bit more advanced and could have a less robotic dialogue to retrieve complex information and dictate spoken word to text for me (and that it could understand an Irish accent properly to begin with).
How do people get in touch with you?
My website is usually the best way of getting in touch, the contact page has a fun list of indications we may or may not be a good working fit for each other!
