Building a strong community in a bearmarket isn’t easy! Crypto insights with Robbie Vander Ghinste, at Monaco event, May 31st

We spoke with Robbie Vander Ghinste who will be attending the  Monaco Blockchain Conference. Book tickets here  and see more about the event here.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

Currently I am an ambassador for Morpheus Labs, which is a Blockchain Platform as a Service (BPaaS) that simplifies and expedites your blockchain application development and gives you the flexibility to choose between available programming languages and blockchain runtimes that better suit your needs. During my research to find a potential project to invest in, I came across the white paper of Morpheus Labs and noticed the strenght and capacity of this project. I quickly became in touch with the team and got more involved with community building, which lead me to my current position as their ambassador. My job is to bring awareness to the Morpheus Labs project via social media and several blockchain communities. I am also an administrator of their Telegram channel where I help the community with their questions and possible concerns. I really enjoy what I’m doing as I get to meet new people and learn something new every day.

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

Last year for me was all about networking and building strong relationships with existing community members and potential investors. So, community building was a big focus for me throughout 2018 and I can tell you that building a strong community during a bearmarket isn’t that easy at all. People preferred to invest in quick flips and didn’t care about the fundamentals about a project, nor looking at what the project is all about. With the recent marketing campaign we had, we attracted some really committed members who also started to spread the word on social media and attract new people into the community, which is very great to see.

What are your plans for the future?

My plans for the future is to continue doing what I am doing now and maybe someday become an advisor for several projects. Gaining more knowledge about Blockchain, and staying up to date on what is going on is also important to me. Finally, going to conferences and meetups is something I like to do as you get to know new and interesting people, which is something I really enjoy.

What will you be doing at this event?

To network and share with the like-minded people about the Morpheus Labs project, getting the audience to understand the limitless opportunities of this project.

What inspired you to attend it?

The commitment of the team and my strong interest for blockchain sparks my interest and inspiration to attend. Morpheus Labs is also a proud sponsor of the event and I am looking forward to be talking and sharing knowledge with people who will be attending the event as well.

Which influencers and websites do you follow to keep up to date with the latest developments?

We follow certain influencers on Twitter such as Brad Laurie, Alex Libertas, CryptoFreak Network, and I do also follow this space closely myself via several news outlets.
