Bluefin Payment Systems, the leading provider of PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solutions, today announced a new partnership with WorldNet, a leading international provider of payment and transaction processing services. The partnership will further enhance data security for companies using the WorldNet platform with the addition of Bluefin’s Decryptx PCI-Validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solution, which enables merchants utilizing the WorldNet gateway to get the security and scope reduction of PCI P2PE with no change to their gateway relationship.
Based in Dublin, WorldNet provides payment gateway services to the global market with Omni- channel offerings including eCommerce, Mobile POS and iPOS payments, with EMV authentication.
As part of the partnership, Bluefin will also utilize WorldNet’s state of the art payment platform, equipped with Decryptx P2PE for retail, mobile and unattended environments, to provide stand-alone and integrated payment processing to their global merchants and partners.
“Our partnership with WorldNet will provide significant benefits in expanding our respective capabilities globally,” said John M. Perry, CEO of Bluefin. “Decryptx allows WorldNet to offer the highest level of payment security with our PCI P2PE product to merchants using their platform, and concurrently, we can now leverage their world-class payment processing suite for our global merchants.”
“The new partnership with Bluefin Payments is another significant step in the expansion and growth of our hosted-Gateway Partner business in North America. The alliance will enrich the current product proposition for both parties and facilitate cross-sale of the WorldNet Omni- channel Platform product range, incorporating Decryptx from Bluefin, to existing customers and new prospective partners of both companies” said Will Byrne, CEO of WorldNet.
“Consumer data security is a vital component of our service,” added Mr. Byrne. “Users of our platform want to ensure that their networks and their reputations can withstand attack from sophisticated point-of-sale malware. We believe that Decryptx is the best solution available to achieve this and are excited to partner with Bluefin to make PCI-validated P2PE available to our clients.”
