Seeking Blockchain Teams with Real Use-Cases

Throughout the month of April, Block Battle Season 2 is accepting participants through their official homepage. SBI Investments is providing an investment opportunity up to $10 Million USD for the Top 10 teams.

Pax Economy TV (CEO Kim Hyun-woo) announced on April 10th that it will broadcast season 2 of the world’s first blockchain survival program ‘Block Battle’ on Thursday, June 20th.

Block battle is a TV program that takes you into the heart of the global emerging technology of Blockchain. Participants will compete over 5 episodes, in order to find the winning team. Applications to participate can be made through the official web site “www.nextsatoshi.com” during the month of April.

This year’s question is simple. ‘Why does your project need blockchain technology?’ In addition to answering this, Contestants should upload a project introduction video of around two minutes to the website. Projects received in April will be subject to basic technical verification and preliminary judges will conduct the first round of screening.

A total of 10 teams will advance to the finals. These teams will participate in a multitude of competitions including a 5-minute presentation, a 1 on 1 White paper battle, and a final competition. Judging will be done by professionals from venture capitals, cryptocurrency exchanges successful project CEOs, crypto-funds, and top blockchain projects.

Last season judges included:  Jeon Ha Jin, Chairman of the self-regulatory organization of the Korean block chain association Lee Shin Hye, GBIC partner Li Jun, Ontology CEO Tony Gu, Neo Global Capital Partner Elena Kang, Managing Director of Huobi Korea Han Seung Jun, OKCOIN Marketing Manager Hwang La yeol, Hillstone Partners CEO Kim Seong-koo, Nexus One CEO Leo Liu, IDCM CEO Kim Sung-a, CEO of Hanbitco , Kim Yoon-soo, CEO of BlockchainI, total of eleven judges who are experts in blockchain industry,  took part in the season.

The first episode, which will be broadcast on Thursday, June 20th, will be broadcasted simultaneously in China, Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong. It will also be broadcast live on the online channel Youtube Coin Cast.

Block Monster Lab, a subsidiary of Pax Economy TV, which oversees Block battle said, “This year, Block Battle season 2 will be supported to bring investments, in accordance with the intention of 10-billion-won investment from SBI Investment.” In addition, we are trying to give teams a chance to raise their name to the top. ” For more information, please contact us via the official mail ([email protected]).

Block Battle was broadcasted in October last year through PAX Economy TV (formerly Asia Economic TV). Over the course of a total of five episodes, domestic and overseas blockchain projects competed for survival by presenting their technology and business models. In season one, Grabity, a smartphone optimization block chain platform, won the grand prize. In addition, the ‘2018 World Block Chain Forum in Shenzhen and World Block Chain Awards Asia’ hosted by the World Block Chain Forum (WBF) awarded the ‘2018 Outstanding Overseas TV Show of the Year” to Block Battle.  Program planning and supervision will be jointly handled by Block Monster Lab, Viral Nation, Nexus One, BlockchainI and DiLight.
