BFC EU Event Returns For 4th Year To Examine Many Disruptive Technologies In October 2019

When and where is it on?

When: October 7th – 9th

Where: Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Dublin

How many years has it been going?

This October will be BFC EU’s 4th year running.

What was the inspiration to start it?

FinTech Network is an independent provider of business intelligence for the financial services community.  We love building products that influence the way people and organisations do business. We exist at the meeting point where government bodies, associations, incumbent financial service companies and disruptive new start-ups come together to share information.  We facilitate the exchange of ideas and act as advocates for collaboration.

What exciting things can people look forward to?

This year, BFC EU will examine a host of disruptive technologies including distributed ledgers, artificial intelligence, cloud and big data to help you determine the most suitable technologies for your business needs.

Explore how, what, and where technologies are transforming finance, with contributions from Dash, Digital Asset, FNZ, Microsoft, Nivaura, Ripple and Tezos to keep abreast of latest technological advancements

Overcome key challenges around regulations, standards, scalability, interoperability and infrastructure to ensure smooth progression on the road to production

Consider how emerging technologies are disrupting trade finance, digital identity & capital markets and where current inefficiencies could benefit from the use of new tech

Further your understanding of technological developments by joining Deloitte’s interactive breakout sessions and get to grips with the basics of coding

Discuss the future of payments and data storage through lunch and learn workshops hosted by Citi and Barclays and see why innovation is so important to these incumbent banks

Join us at Deloitte’s Blockchain Lab for VIP pre-conference drinks to build new partnerships and connections in the emerging tech space

What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?

We have recruited recognised industry leaders to share their experiences across two days of intensive discussion, case study examples, workshops and interview style sessions to ensure our delegates leave with the information they need to thrive in the fintech era. I’d recommend you attend all discussions, utilise all networking sessions and explore the exhibitor rooms which will highlight the latest solutions created to drive adoption of new tech in financial services. Furthermore, if you’re a premium pass holder you’re automatically invited to our lead sponsor Deloitte’s VIP pre-conference drinks evening.

How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?

Delegates can book tickets through myself Hannah Kitchen, (conference organiser) or online at https://blockchain.fintecnet.com/register.html

The tickets will increase in price on the 2nd August so to get the best rate we’d recommend that people register before then!

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

If you have any questions about the event or are keen to get involved. Please get in touch with me directly on the details below.
