While some markets are still awaiting the release of the first Transformer Prime, ASUS has announced today that it will be releasing an improved version of the tablet sometime in Q2 of this year. The current model will remain on sale with the newer one being a more expensive upgrade. It is a move that is sure to annoy anyone who has just shelled out for the first model but it is also good to see a company bringing the latest tech to the market so quickly.
The new Model will have an improved 1920 x 1200 Super IPS+ resolution screen, a 2MP front facing camera and improved GPS and WiFi signal and range. There have been some reported issues with the WiFi on the current model. The 1.4GHz Quad-Core Tegra 3 processor remains with 32 & 64Gb models available. Let us know what you think below.
