Akeo will change the way trust is thought about, Espen Moen Kvelland

What is your background briefly?

The shortest way of saying it is that I am a geek. I have my background from software development and cyber security. I have extensive experience in IT-consulting, software development and software architecture. Obviously the blockchain caught my interest immediately as the “next big thing” within the IT industry. For me it is a complete game-changer for a lot of industries, and I am glad that I got in this early. It can truly revolutionize the way we think of business and trust.

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

I have been working with the fintech industry for years and witnessed first-hand the need for trusted intermediaries and the expenses it brings with it. I have also seen how dependent many industries are of trust in human elements. For me the Blockchain can do a lot to improve not only efficiency, but also effectiveness across the board. I feel that my combined background from both management and technical side makes my background perfect for working with Blockchain projects.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

I am currently the CEO of a software development company based in Norway. Akeo is grasping blockchain as one of its main areas of focus and we are already a leading firm within blockchain development in Europe. We are the only Norwegian company in existence that is a member of the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance (EEA) and are the second Norwegian company ever to run a full-scale ICO.

Why did you get involved with this ICO?

When Raymond came to me, we had really been thinking a lot of the same thoughts for a long time so it was a great fit. He had the financial background needed to run the investment portfolio and I had the technical know-how to build the project and integrate it with the blockchain. We quickly set up a team here at Akeo and started to develop the project.

Why do you think it is such a powerful idea?

The distributed ledger technology is already changing the world, and I think it’s really cool to be part of that movement. From a technology standpoint, this is truly forcing us to rethink everything we know about trust and the handling of it. By eliminating the risk of biased people, we can start trusting what we read. In other forums it’s impossible to know if the person leaving the negative review holds a massive short position against the project. On BullToken it will all be visible, because the entire community will gain or lose collectively from the same outcome.

How can people find out more about 1. The ICO 2. you & your work?

I believe the best source of information right now is our web page. Here you can find some of our reviews done by third parties. You will find our whitepaper of course as well as a few frequently asked questions. For me personally, the best place would be LinkedIn.

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

I would like to invite everyone to check out our project. Even if you are not planning on investing, we would love to hear your thoughts on it. In your opinion, is this something the crypto community needs? Have you experienced dishonest reviews out there?
