As SXSW (South by South West) is starting today Austin, Texas, Irish Tech News are doing two themed SXSW podcasts with two Irish Tech startups who will be there.
In our first SXSW themed podcast, Girl Crew the Irish Tech startup founded by Elva Carri, Aine Mulloy and Pamela Newenham and before they headed off I met up with Aine and Pamela. They tell me how Girl Crew started including how they joined forces at surf summit, that their membership is growing, and about their Tinder prank which got picked up on Reddit. They also tell me that while they are at SXSW, they will be crowning the Queen of Tech and doing a soft launch of their web app.
