AdaptiveMobile, the world leader in mobile network security, today announced that it is working with a Tier-1 North American carrier to secure against Diameter exploitation, such as call interception, location tracking and fraud. The Company’s Signalling Protection Product secures the SS7 and Diameter networks using a unique combination of a carrier-grade signalling firewall, advanced analytics and the unique intelligence from working with nine of the top 10 operator groups to protect one-fifth of the world’s mobile subscribers. As service providers roll out IP-based LTE networks, AdaptiveMobile is witnessing growing demand for broader signalling protection, and is working with forward-looking customers to secure both SS7 and Diameter networks.
AdaptiveMobile has been at the forefront of delivering ground-breaking real world intelligence on the tactics, techniques and procedures of exploitations on the SS7 network through the continued analysis of global networks by the company’s world-leading Threat Intelligence Unit. The AdaptiveMobile Threat Intelligence Unit works with more than 75 carriers worldwide to detect and protect against threats to networks and provide a unique view of the global threat landscape.
“Mobile operators are investing in protecting against SS7 attacks; and, as carriers converge on LTE networks, customers continue to select AdaptiveMobile to protect against exploitations to their critical communications infrastructure, be it SS7 or Diameter,” says Brian Collins, chief executive officer, AdaptiveMobile. “Proactively implementing defenses to protect subscribers is the mind-set shift we need – and are seeing – from the global carrier community.”
The Company recently unveiled advanced SS7 GSMA Category 3 threat detection capabilities and continues to lead the market in Signalling Protection.
