Accenture Launches 2020 Graduate Recruitment Campaign

Accenture in Ireland has launched its 2020 graduate recruitment campaign which building on last year, brings innovation to the heart of the recruitment process. Candidates are brought through an immersive process involving augmented reality, virtual reality and strengths-based interviewing.

Accenture is seeking curious, problem-solving minds from all academic backgrounds and disciplines to build on their unique skills and develop new talents as a part of Accenture’s graduate programme with a specific focus on the Technology, Analytics and Consulting teams.

Removing unconscious bias

Accenture has used digital innovation throughout the assessment to remove unintentional biases towards candidates, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome for both the firm and the candidate, with the most qualified candidate getting hired.

After an initial online application, candidates receive a link to complete an online assessment through the Accenture recruitment portal. This portal comprises a mix of assessments using augmented reality that scores candidates across key capabilities including motivated learner, online collaborator and client partner.

Successful candidates are then invited to a new highly interactive Assessment Day which incorporates leading virtual reality technology, mini exercises and strengths-based interviewing.

A career in problem-solving

Excellent problem-solving is required across all of Accenture’s business areas, making it the most sought-after skill in candidate profiles. Through a multi-platform recruitment awareness campaign, involving brain teasers and puzzle-solving, Accenture is engaging with inquisitive solutions-oriented graduates interested in accelerating their futures and having a hand in shaping the future of the world around them.

Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Lisa Rose, managing director, Human Resources, Accenture in Ireland said: “Our people are at the heart of our success. Accenture seeks the best and brightest minds to join the firm each year. The graduate recruitment programme has marked the starting point in the careers of some of our most senior executives and offers graduates great career development and progression opportunities.”
