In the last quarter, two times as many people purchased an Android Device over an iOS Device.
The figures were as follows: 56% for Android, 28% for iOS, and 9% for RIM. The remaining 6% was simply comprised as other.
The market share currently sits at 43% Android, 28% iOS, and 18% RIM. With the pending release of both the iPhone 5 and several new Android Devices, these figure may change, but there’s no doubt that Android is still the OS to beat!
