Cindicator, a fintech company developing Hybrid Intelligence for asset management, today releases a report about the potential effects of Brexit on cryptocurrency prices and digital asset regulation.
Since 14 March, Cindicator has been posting a series of open questions about Brexit for the 120,000 financial analysts registered on its Collective Intelligence platform. The report summarises several key findings.
Financial analysts remain somewhat optimistic about the state of the crypto markets in the midst of Brexit and a slowing global economy. About 62% of them believe that Brexit will have a somewhat positive impact on crypto prices. In terms of their investment strategy, around 74% of analysts are considering holding cryptocurrency in their portfolio, along with other assets such as commodities, stocks and cash.
Brexit could have many different implications for the regulatory landscape of cryptocurrencies. The optimists (44%) believe that post-Brexit Britain could be inclined to take a progressive stance towards cryptocurrency regulation and enable blockchain innovations, which would increase the adoption rate of the technology. Only a small population of forecasters (9%) believe that the UK would adopt an unfavourable approach towards regulating cryptocurrency.
Simon Keusen, Head of Analytics at Cindicator, said:“This report shows that Hybrid Intelligence can be applied as an analytical tool for events that have high uncertainty. With 120,000 analysts registered, the breadth of views on our Collective Intelligence platform means that we can source insights and probability estimates not only for individual assets but also for major market-moving developments.”About CindicatorCindicator is a fintech company that has been developing its Hybrid Intelligence platform since 2015.
While Cindicator’s analytical products are available exclusively to CND token holders, we share some of our research with a wider audience to increase public awareness of the prediction capabilities of Hybrid Intelligence.
