35 New Jobs for Dublin, Galway and Cork

Three new companies are setting up in Ireland, in Cork, Dublin and Galway and will bring an additional 35 new, high-skilled jobs to the country, starting immediately.

The new jobs for Cork are at leading UK wave energy technology company, Wavepower Technologies Ltd. It will establish a future development research group at The Entrepreneur Ship in Ringaksiddy, Co. Cork, creating up to 10 advanced engineering research jobs.

The 12 new Dublin jobs are with software company KOCHAVA Inc. which is based at the Fitzwilliam Business Centre, Dublin 2.  The hub will be the company’s European HQ for product support and regional sales for clients and prospective clients. The main functions of the operations will include sales, marketing, and technical support.

Misfits Inc, a US-registered digital agency and philanthropic organsiation has selected Galway for its Global HQ and is creating 13 new jobs at its new startup subsidiary, Snapstory. The new Snapstory enterprise android application allows NGOs and non-profits to measure, evaluate and tell authentic stories about the work they do across the world.

All three companies were introduced to Ireland through ConnectIreland, the company responsible for delivering the Government’s Succeed in Ireland initiative, as part of the Action Plan for Jobs, in association with IDA Ireland.
