ZIPREMIT- Creation of new money transfer solution

Kim Chivhima the CEO of ZIPREMIT can be heard  passionately saying– “this is a community based and low-cost money transfer service to Africa, Nepal and beyond” and the goal is to allow our customers to save more, pay less and send more money to family. The entire team has worked really hard to get the solution to production.

The ZIPREMIT team has worked tirelessly and in spite of all the odds such as COVID19, regulatory challenges, tight budget, etc. the company is not slowing down.

The team has grown and has brought in an experienced new PM to lead the growing development team, an incumbent IT Advisor, and Security Consultant.

They have moved production to MS AZURE. This is #1 cloud computing infrastructure in the world with enhanced security. Security is their top priority.

Sylvestor Musandipa: IT| Network & Cloud Infrastructure Advisor

Lead Advisor for ZIPREMIT IT projects and teams. Possesses the necessary drive & determination needed to strategically innovate on technology.

Self-driven tech-savvy professional with 13+ years in a bank effectively maintaining the integrity of group computer systems. Qualified & experienced in network & security systems in a Virtualized Datacentre Infrastructure.

S. A. Johnbull Omogbai- Chief Marketing Officer- CMO

With over 10 years in marketing using social media, Facebook, Instagram, youtube, etc. John will lead ZIPREMIT marketing department, product delivery, risk assessment, business development, training and development in all vertical markets:
• Strategic Thinking
• Marketing
• People and system training & development

There has been a  lot of movement in the Zimbabwean community both abroad and back home.

The partnership with Kebab Premier and Legends, Zimbabwean high brand Bars and Grills is nothing but a solid winning strategy for both parties.  A new joint venture has been born for the community.

They have thrived in every way to engage and collaborate with diasporas, and migrant communities across Canada, USA, UK, Europe, Australia, South Africa, Ireland, and worldwide to ensure they all know that they have an option to send money to family using ZIPREMIT.
