When and where is it on ?
World AI Cannes, French Riviera – 9 to 11 February 2023
How many years has it been going?
This is the second edition of the event.
What was the inspiration to start it?
Cannes and the department of the Alpes-Maritimes wanted to explore the concept of an event on AI. The idea was to benefit from the rich AI ecosystem already developed in the region and the notoriety of Cannes as an international business travel location. With the help of our Honorary Committee, composed of renowned AI minds, we wanted to reach out to the AI community to bring them a place to meet, discuss and learn. We also had the idea to bring AI to general public and to showcase the many advances that AI will bring to society. Hence the idea of the Festival was born!
