Play Now!

Win a fabulous two-night, hotel break for two people at The Morgan Hotel, Dublin.

Just play the SimpleRooms booking game to win.

All you have to do is play the SimpleRooms booking game – select your favourite options from our hotel room ‘menu’, stay within the €300 budget and then press send (don’t worry, it’s not a real booking).

SimpleRooms is making gamification part of the hotel booking process, and is encouraging people to trial the platform with a competition to win a weekend for two at Dublin’s Morgan Hotel.SimpleRooms is improving hotel room yields by increasing a hotel’s up-selling opportunities at the point of booking and have introduced a fun SimpleRooms game to find out exactly what their customers want.

Participants have a budget for their ideal weekend break and get to choose from a menu of add-ons (late checkout, early checkin, suite upgrade etc..) and discount options (no housekeeping, no breakfast, etc…)CEO and founder Peter Devlin explains “My background is in media and music and I spent many years living in hotels. I worked late nights so the first thing I did when checking in to a hotel was hang a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign on the door. I rarely made it to the breakfast buffet on time and thought, I should be getting a discount for not using these services, or at least be able to book the things I really need like an early checkin or late check out.

We identified a gap in the OTA (Online Travel Agency) market because these options still aren’t available online today”.Co-founder Johnny Taylor spoke about their novel approach to research – “There’s a really enjoyable gamification aspect to our booking system and we’re getting a lot of positive feedback. We’re finding out what people’s priorities are when it comes to their ideal weekend break – it’s either party or peaceful!”.The prize for the winner is a weekend for two in Dublin’s Morgan hotel.
