Welltel, Ireland’s largest dedicated business communications provider, has announced the creation of 25 new jobs to support the planned growth of the business.

Welltel provides market-leading communications and IT services to business customers across unified communications (UC), contact centres, secure connectivity, cloud solutions, and managed security. The creation of the new jobs will increase Welltel’s capability and service delivery in these high-growth markets.

The new roles  to be filled immediately will span a number of departments within the business including project management, product management, pre-sales, sales, marketing, and engineering in cybersecurity, IT, and data networking.

The company is seeing high demand for the migration of customers to the digital and hybrid workspaces of the future, requiring a high level of competency across connectivity, security, and cloud technologies. The new hires will allow Welltel to build out its capabilities in these areas and underscores its commitment to providing best-in-class solutions for its customers.

Some of Welltel’s high-profile Irish customers include Permanent TSB, KBC Bank Ireland, AnPost Insurance, Three Ireland, and The AA, as well as a number of local authorities. The company has strong links with industry partners including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Avaya, and is also a Microsoft Gold Partner in Cloud Productivity and Cloud Small and Mid-Market Solutions.

Currently with 180 employees, Welltel is on an upward growth trajectory, supplemented by a combination of strategic acquisitions and organic business growth.

Ross Murray, CEO, Welltel: “The creation of these new jobs means that Welltel can continue to provide the best technical solutions to businesses, underpinned by our customer-focused ethos. As we continue on our growth path, including our ‘buy-and-build’ acquisition strategy, we need the right people to support this expansion.

“Throughout the pandemic, the increased demand for well-connected and secure digital workplaces has been driving business growth, and we are committed to rounding out our capabilities in these areas with continued investment in our people, as well as our suite of products.

“We’re looking forward to further expanding the team, continuing to support our customers, and cementing our position as Ireland’s leading one-stop communications and IT services provider for businesses.”
