Update: Week 3 Competition – #IrishTechNews Giveaway Thanks to @DoroUK_Ireland

Update: And the winner is………Tony Murray (@XbossTony

Please drop me an email on John@IrishTechNews.net with your details and we’ll organise getting the prize out to you.

Once again thanks to the guys at Doro who put forward this excellent prize and thanks to everyone who took part.

On November 5 we announced details of our 5K Twitter followers Giveaway. We reached 5000 followers on Twitter and to celebrate we wanted to give something back to you.

Week 1 saw us give away a climote hub while Week 2, which has just finished, saw us give away a Samsung Smart Camera. Now, well on our way to 6K followers we start our Week 3 competition.

This week the prize on offer is a Doro PhoneEasy 508. In addition to the phone the winner of this prize will receive €50 phone credit of their choice.

The Doro PhoneEasy 508 is a good-looking phone bringing widely spaced, convex keys, predictive text, direct memories and an SMS button for easy dialling and texting. A crisp colour display and enhanced sound simplify usage even more. Other practical features include a torch, reminders, wake-up alarm, vibrating ringer and one-touch assistance dialling with SMS alerts.

To be in with a chance of winning this prize, you need to be following @Irish_TechNews on Twitter and you need to ReTweet the following tweet:

Important: During both our climote and Samsung competition, we had a lot of people retweet the wrong tweet and missed out on entering. While retweeting other reminders about the competition is very welcome and much appreciated, you need to retweet the tweet embedded above to be in with a chance of entering!

The competition will run for 1 week from today and is only open to people with an address in Ireland. A winner will be picked at random from all the valid entries next week after this competition closes.

Thanks to all our readers and followers for your continued support and thanks to Doro for supplying us with this excellent prize.
