Voltreum Launches P2P Energy Trading Platform

Voltreum, a future-focused blockchain firm, has unveiled its newest offering, Volt-X, a peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading platform and cryptocurrency token aimed at
revolutionizing the energy industry. In response to the pressing demands for energy and the consequences of climate change, Voltreum aims to create a decentralized, borderless platform for exchanging energy.

Voltreum Launches P2P Energy Trading Platform

By leveraging the potential of blockchain technology and microgrids, Volt-X enables the trading of renewable energy in a transparent and on-demand manner between producers and consumers worldwide. This will foster the transition to a sustainable future by delivering clean, efficient, and affordable energy and reducing carbon emissions.

Voltreum’s blockchain-based platform, equipped with standard tools and smart contracts, forms a vital part of the microgrid-enabled energy exchange ecosystem. The platform connects small communities through microgrids, enabling the trade of locally produced clean energy like any other commodity.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report warns of the dire consequences of global warming surpassing 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. Many nations are taking significant steps to transition to smart grid infrastructure and utilize renewable energy sources, and Voltreum’s platform will play a pivotal role in this transition by facilitating the seamless exchange of clean energy between
surplus and deficit entities.

Voltreum’s first presale round is now open, offering early adopters the opportunity to support the growth of the platform. Co-founder Bhakti Vaidya stated, Voltreum’s platform, app, and token are poised to drive decentralized energy trading and help us attain a future powered by clean, renewable the energy future.

Co-founder Rahul Awati added Voltreum is dedicated to becoming a leading player in the energy trading ecosystem and is confident that our platform and technology will contribute to a more sustainable and connected future for all."
