Vodafone introduce new European Tariff

Vodafone Ireland has today announced a refresh of its bill pay and Pay As You Go (PAYG) portfolios. Vodafone has introduced Red Connect, an integrated European tariff for bill pay customers. When travelling in one of 32 European destinations Red Connect customers will have unlimited calls and texts back to Ireland and within the country they are visiting without being charged extra. Customers will also have access to all of their home data and international allowances as part of this tariff.

Vodafone has also announced the launch of a new Pay as You Go offer. Chat Extra gives customers unlimited cross network and texts and 1GB of 4G data for €20.

Vodafone’s PAYG offers now centre on three options; €20 Chat Extra and Data Extra and €30 Extra. All Vodafone PAYG plans now include 4G at no extra cost.

Introducing the refreshed plans, Vodafone Ireland Consumer Director, Lutfu Kitapci said, “We understand that consumers want simple and transparent mobile phone plans so we are delighted to introduce our revised bill pay and Pay As You Go tariffs. We know that many customers turn off their data when abroad because they worry about bill shock. Red Connect is a first for the Irish market giving customers a full European plan so they can use their phones the same way at home or abroad without any worry about additional costs”.

Red Connect is available to all new and existing customers. More info at Vodafone.ie
