With Europe’s trade fair scene being turned upside down and manufacturing facing a difficult time over the coming months including here in Ireland and Northern Ireland, Universal Robots, is innovating to bring the best educational resources to businesses. The automation pioneer has announced it will host the world’s largest, virtual conference and exhibition focusing on automation solutions and cobots this June 16-18, from 10 am to 4 pm each day.
Free of charge to attend, businesses from all industries across the island are invited to join to browse over 30 virtual booths, listen to 50 live keynotes from automation experts and learn more about the numerous benefits collaborative automation can offer business operations.
Attendees will gain valuable insight into the future of automation and how cobots may support businesses to increase and improve profitability and efficiency in the wake of COVID-19 and futureproof their operations in the long-term.
Samantha Cummins-Byrne, Local Development Lead at Universal Robots, said: “The challenges of COVID-19 are very apparent across the island and are unfortunately only beginning for businesses when we consider the implications social distancing has on supply chains.
Cobots offer an affordable and immediate solution where business continuity and production uptime are concerned, while also keeping employees safe and sound. It’s a really pivotal time for us to offer this unique virtual event where attendees can experience all the ways collaborative automation can address these very real challenges.”
WeAreCobots boasts a varied and timely agenda consisting of 50 live keynotes on topics such as trends and insights from leading experts, the vast possibilities of Universal Robots‘ solutions and how to get the best out of cobots in various settings.
The expo will also have live demonstrations focusing on innovative automation applications that will support many Irish operations such as packaging & palletizing, sanding & polishing, machine tending and screw driving. Across the 30+ virtual exhibition booths, visitors can engage in one-to-one conversations with Universal Robots experts as well as Universal Robots partners.
Jürgen von Hollen, President of Universal Robots, said: “At Universal Robots, it has always been our aim to think outside of the box and be solution-orientated, even when the challenge seems overwhelming. Launching this virtual cobot exhibition is a great new way to engage with Irish businesses who are interested in learning more about our world of automation and support them to learn more about the key upcoming trends in automation, which are especially relevant with the headwinds the world has brought upon us.”
