Virgin Media announce latest companies to benefit from its #BackingBusiness initiative

Virgin Media has announced the latest businesses to be championed by their #BackingBusiness campaign, designed to support businesses as they return to growth over the coming months.

With a specially tailored package providing free on-air advertising across Virgin Media Channels One, Two and Three, Virgin Media also provides free creative and production support businesses of all sizes.  To celebrate the campaign, Virgin Media also hit the road this week and broadcasted some of our biggest shows live from Limerick to shine a light on local Limerick businesses and the talented people behind them.

As Ireland’s leading connected entertainment provider, Virgin Media has supported over 200 businesses through the #BackingBusiness campaign since it was launched in May. The campaign continues to be a huge success with companies across Ireland also being profiled across Virgin Media’s official social media accounts. 

This week’s three businesses who will feature as part of Virgin Media’s 60-second ad campaign are: 

The five-star Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny has been busy gearing up for the return of its guests and customers and has created lots of great ‘staycation’ offers for families, couples and friends who want to reconnect.  Located just five minutes from the heart of Kilkenny city, and set on over 170 acres of mature parkland, the estate enjoys a peaceful, rural setting yet is in easy reach of the famous medieval city with its many shops, historic castle and cultural attractions.

The second business selected this week is Big Red Cloud who supply online accounts and payroll software to over 50,000 customers in Ireland. They re-developed their payroll to cater for the TWSS (Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme), in order to make life easier for customers during these stressful times. As an Irish business, Big Red Cloud caters for all revenue requirements and provide telephone support from their base in Dublin.
