Vault365, a leading provider of data protection services, has announcesda new partnership with IT solutions provider Newcorp. Stemming from the partnership, Vault365 expects to generate additional UK revenues of €585,000 in the next 12 months. This will increase overall revenues for Vault365 in the UK by 20% in the same timeframe.

Vault365 is partnering with Newcorp amid increased customer demand for reliable data backup and recovery, data sovereignty, enhanced security, and boosted compliance in an era of evolving cyber risks and regulatory requirements.

Newcorp will provide Vault365 LocalLock, a highly secure immutable data backup appliance which stores critical business data on-premise, to its customer base across the UK. LocalLock prevents backed up data from being altered, overwritten, or deleted by cyber criminals. Newcorp’s customers operate in tightly regulated environments including healthcare, education, and local authorities, and the partnership will serve to strengthen Vault365’s existing presence in these sectors.

Vault365 launched its LocalLock appliance earlier this year to enable organisations to secure and manage sensitive information on-site with local immutability. It works alongside cloud backups to ensure ultra-fast data recovery in the event of an incident such as a cyberattack or hardware failure. Unlike fully cloud-based systems, it can continue to safeguard data offline even during network outages.

Cillian McCarthy, CEO, Vault365, said: “As part of our continued expansion in the UK, we are delighted to welcome Newcorp as a Vault365 partner in the market. Newcorp’s deep understanding of the UK landscape makes it the perfect partner to deliver our LocalLock solution to organisations with complex compliance needs. For many businesses, cloud isn’t the only answer, and storing data securely on-site provides increased protection against ransomware and enables more control over sensitive data.”

Andrew Low, Account Director, Newcorp, said: “The ability to securely store data locally is becoming ever more important to businesses and this partnership enables us to provide increased reassurance to customers that their data is protected and easily retrievable. As well as an advanced technology solution, customers will benefit from local support and expert technical guidance when it comes to securing their sensitive digital assets. We’re looking forward to continuing to grow the partnership and expand our Vault365 capabilities.”
