When and where is it on?

It is on October 4th-5th in the RDS, Dublin.

How many years has it been going?

Now in its 3rd year, UXDX is unique tech gathering of 1,400 product people – from designers, developers, project and product managers from technology companies across the world who meet at the RDS, Dublin for the two-day event.

What was the inspiration to start it?

The goal is to eliminate bottlenecks in the product process and focus on outcome driven development to enhance the user experience. One of the UXDX founders, Rory Madden, had worked in IT Project Management for 15 years and had regularly seen large projects fail, costing millions with zero outcome. In the startup world it was similar, with the 90% failure rate for startups now being widely known. It inspired him to look at the reasons for failure of both startups and enterprises; product, team and market fit. UXDX was formed to create a new agile delivery model to speed up product delivery and build a better product.
