Unitek.AI, the platform helping to automate data extraction, processes and conversions, has announced a new contract with Flender, the peer-to-peer lending service that offer SMEs same day credit decisions. This announcement comes shortly after Unitek.AI completed a successful three month pilot with one of the largest energy suppliers in Germany, Open-Grid whom they are now in discussions on a longer term partnership. The partnership is expected to accelerate Open-Grid’s move from analogue to digital from ten years as currently predicted.
Founded by CEO Martin Brown in 2018, Unitek.AI is an online platform that extracts data from scanned images of forms including those with handwriting and automates the data entry into any system without the need for manual intervention to over 99.9% accuracy. The company, which recently became an Enterprise Ireland HPSU following the completion of New Frontiers programme at TU Dublin Hothouse in December 2018, works across a multitude of sectors including insurance, utility, telecommunications, retail, banking, alternative finance, and private healthcare companies.
Speaking on the success that Unitek.AI has had, Martin Brown stated, “We’re looking forward to being able to help all of these companies minimise the amount of time needed for employees to manually conduct data entry. The fact that we are already trading in 3 countries with a significant pipeline to service demonstrates the global potential of our platform across a number of industry verticals including insurance. By using our cloud based platform, we can help save time, reduce costs and increase accuracy, among other invaluable benefits of integrating our platform such as allowing employees to focus on the things that matter – customers.”
Barry Hickey, Head of SME Sales at Flender stated, “Our customers are the heartbeat of what we do. Two of our core company values are “putting our customers first” and “responding to all customer touch points in a speedy manner”. We strive to provide our customers with the best customer experience possible, whilst providing them with fast credit decisions. To ensure we maintain our high standards, we are always looking at ways to streamline and speed up processes. Therefore we are delighted to announce our partnership with Unitek.AI, which further automates our credit process. We are delighted to partner with Unitek.AI for this service, as a leading provider of cutting-edge technologies and services they share similar company values to ours to offer a fast, easy and secure customer experience. This partnership strengthens Flender’s promise to put our customers first and deliver on the speed they have come to expect.”
Discussing the new partnership for Unitek.AI, Martin Brown stated, “Our ambition is to help organisations such as Flender deliver world-class customer experience that they strive to achieve every day. Customers demand accelerated processes and outcomes with a high quality output. The customer is at the core of our values at Unitek.AI, as it is with Flender who provide that financial certainty and are helping businesses expand everyday. With Flender, there is no more waiting weeks or months for your bank to give you the ’slow no’ and I am delighted that Unitek.AI is partnering with Flender to achieve this every day through automated processes.”
