AKASHA Innovation Hub and SORS Digital Assets are excited to host a panel discussion on Wednesday 5th February covering the topic of Tokenisation in Ireland.
When and where is it on?
Wednesday 5th February AKASHA Innovation Hub
29-31 William Street South, Third Floor, D02 K735 Dublin 2
How many years has it been going?
Akasha Innovation Hub and SORS Digital assets arrived to Ireland in 2019. This is our first joint event.
Why Tokenisation of Equity in Ireland is coming
What was the inspiration to start it?
Black Manta – who are the first Mifid licensed firm by Bafin in Germany specifically for Digital Assets – are partners of SORS and have recently applied to passport business from their home in Germany to Ireland. The founder and CEO, Christian is visiting Dublin for the first time. Equity is a cornerstone of the securities market and a logical place to start with our first event on digital or tokenised securities.
We are lucky that this visit is timed well and we can welcome Clara, the founder of London based PR & IR firm DisPRuptive & Galen a principal in Crossbridge in Singapore can also join.
What exciting things can people look forward to?
This is a the cutting edge of financial innovation and we are at the start of this journey. It is a time of innovation and experimentation. The panel are all involved in this change in some way – in Singapore, London, Berlin, Austria, Hong Kong and Ireland. They will be sharing perspectives from the cutting edge in each of these locations. We at SORS believe that Ireland has an important part to play in the emergence of this new sector of finance.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
The speakers and the crowd that has confirmed so far are among the leaders in this niche. Those attending will be able to meet and discuss items of interest with the presenters / attendees. What makes tokenisaiton attractive for issuers? and what makes it attractive for investors.
