THEYA Healthcare Launches Online with House of Fraser

THEYA Healthcare, an award winning Irish company, announced today that its innovative post-operative lingerie is now available online in the UK and internationally through House of Fraser. House of Fraser is one of the UK’s premium department stores, with online sales of £246 million for 2015/16, delivering to over 150 countries worldwide.

THEYA Healthcare specialises in the design and manufacture of lingerie suitable for women who have undergone breast cancer surgery, radiotherapy treatment or cosmetic surgery.
In 2012, THEYA Healthcare CEO, Ciara Donlon, spotted a gap in the market whilst running her own lingerie retail business in Dublin. She was unable to find a product that met the needs of breast surgery patients visiting her shop. She decided to create the products herself with input from both patients and healthcare professionals.

THEYA Healthcare which is headquartered at NovaUCD, the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs at University College Dublin, formally launched in 2015 and has already expanded its distribution beyond Ireland into mainland Europe and Canada.

Ciara Donlon, CEO, THEYA Healthcare said, “We are incredibly proud to be launching with a retailer of the calibre of House of Fraser. We are well matched as we are both dedicated to customer satisfaction. It is what defines success in our businesses, so I know our brand is in the safest of hands.”
She added, “THEYA continues to collaborate with cancer survivors and healthcare professionals, to ensure our products are of the highest standard, and we hope our collection is as well received by House of Fraser customers as it has been elsewhere.”

Louise Bailey, Head of Buying Fashion Accessories Branded, House of Fraser said, “The wants and needs of our customers are always at the heart of everything we do and so we are delighted to be able to introduce them to THEYA Healthcare.”

Earlier this year THEYA Healthcare, whose products are classified as Class 1 medical devices, was named as a winner of the ‘Emerging New Business’ category at the Small Firms Association, 2016 National Small Business Awards.

THEYA Healthcare products are now available online at the House of Fraser via www.houseoffraser.co.uk.
