If, like many of us, you don’t watch television a whole lot, or don’t even have one, this is a great show running since September to check out. You can watch it on tv3.ie/3player, the show is good fun, and covers a good range of current tech items, including things you might have been thinking about buying. In a magazine style format, the presenters review a different range of tech products each week and give their opinions about what worked well and what did not.

The earlier episodes in the series looked at the use of tablets in school for education, including a school in Wexford that had gone completely book free, and devices for hiking too.

Irish Tech News went down to watch them filming in Dalkey, and the atmosphere seemed similar to the good natured easy going vibe that you see on screen too.

It was interesting too that the whole show could be filmed on something that didn’t seem much bigger than a typical digital SLR, and yet looks fine when you watch the final product. It really seems to illustrate that film making techniques are getting more and more lightweight, and this does offer great opportunities for a wider range of people to create useful engaging video content. Meantime check out the show’s episodes while it is up on the TV3 player.
