The 3rd National Manufacturing Conference & Exhibition will be held at Citywest on the 26th of January 2016. The event will also host the first Jobs in Manufacturing & Supply Chain Expo to support national and international manufacturing organisations attend to bridge the skills gap.

At the event will be:

– 2,000 + delegates
– 125 speakers
– 120 exhibitors

The speaker lineup includes individuals from some of Irelands leading manufacturing and supply chain organisations including Bristol Myers Squibb and Pfizer. The event will also include presentations from key government agencies responsible for creating the environment for manufacturing growth in exports

Despite the global recession Irish manufacturing companies are continuing to invest millions of Euro in new facilities including Bristol Myers Squibb €600m, Kerry Group €100m, Glanbia €150m, Amgen €75m, Ely Lily €150m, Genzyme €50M and Gerard Laboratories €60m.

Participation organisations include Enterprise Ireland, IDA, CILT, Engineers Ireland, IPICS, NSAI, plus all of the leading universities collaborating with industry.

In addition to the keynote addresses delegates can visit an exhibition showcasing 120 key suppliers of technology and services offering cutting edge solutions to help manufacturers achieve greater manufacturing efficiencies and improve competitiveness.

Speaking about the event, Colin Murphy, Managing Director, National Manufacturing Conference commented, “Irish manufacturing companies have the potential to create long term sustainable jobs. Today Ireland employs 205,000 people directly and 400,000 people when indirect employment is taken into account. The Government is targeting an additional 43,000 new jobs by 2020 which offers huge opportunities for Irish industry”

This event offers delegates the opportunity to hear from senior management operating world class lean manufacturing facilities and also the chance to network and debate with industry peers from a broad range of production facilities.
