Enhancing Garden Security: Technaxx 4G Wildcam TX-189 with Solar Panel Enables Surveillance Without Wi-Fi or a Power Supply
As autumn descends, it brings with it the season when foraging raccoons and other wildlife increasingly venture into our gardens, and the darker months signal the beginning of the break-in season, making it easier for intruders to operate.
Safeguarding your property against uninvited guests is of paramount importance. However, what is feasible within the confines of a home using surveillance systems becomes a challenge in extensive outdoor spaces or allotment gardens, particularly when Wi-Fi and a constant power supply are unavailable.
Technaxx has introduced a solution with its new app-controlled 4G Wildcam TX-189. This camera establishes an internet connection via a SIM card through a mobile network module. Furthermore, it’s equipped with a 5-watt solar panel and four replaceable batteries, ensuring a continuous power supply.
In addition to garden security, this camera is also perfect for construction sites with limited Wi-Fi and power supply. It excels in remote forests, offering reliable surveillance in areas with minimal power and internet access. Farmers can use the TX-189 to safeguard farmhouses and property, making it a top choice for protecting agricultural assets.
The newly launched outdoor camera from Technaxx captures events with a 100° horizontal field of view, delivering video recordings in QHD quality. Additionally, it boasts an integrated invisible infrared night vision function with a range of approximately 15 meters, ensuring clear visibility even in darkness. The built-in PIR sensor, covering an area of up to 12 meters, triggers automatic recording upon detecting motion.
The captured footage is stored locally on a microSD card. Simultaneously, users receive push notifications, allowing them to view live footage and recordings directly on their smartphones. Moreover, the camera features an integrated microphone and speakers, enabling two-way communication to deter intruders.
Designed for autonomous outdoor usage, the camera is rated IP66, ensuring protection against dust and rain, and can operate seamlessly in temperatures ranging from -20 to 50°C. The camera is powered by four 4,500 mAh batteries, offering up to 21 days of operation, depending on usage and triggered motion events. When the sun is shining, the included 5-watt solar module generates emission-free energy, further extending the camera’s operating time.
The new Technaxx trail camera, designed with a camouflage finish, measures 28.4 x 11.8 x 7.1 cm (L x W x H, including the 4G antenna) and weighs 595 grams. It includes straps, brackets, and mounting materials for secure attachment to tree trunks or wooden beams, along with a 1-meter power cable.
Effective immediately, the Technaxx 4G Wildcam TX-189, inclusive of the 5-watt solar panel, is available both online and in retail stores at a suggested retail price of 249.99 Euros. The “Security Premium” app from Technaxx is available for free download on iOS and Android platforms.
