Interested in homegrown Irish innovation and the companies that are driving Ireland forward? Innovation Nation looks back at the last 12 months of Irish innovation and breaks down the headline stories by region, sector and funding.
The research, that became the report, that then became the book. It is a snapshot in time, which raises awareness about the wider database and information gathered about why Ireland is a great place to do business. Despite our headlong rush into the world of digital this physical artefact is a good illustration of why it is still useful to have something to hand sometimes. It is visually well designed, put together in an appealing visual style. It’s affirming to realise there is far more going on in Ireland, across the whole country, than you might have previously realised. Sales of the book have already gone well, with several large organisations bulk buying copies to ensure that their internal teams are aware of who is out there. It also provokes curiosity around the wider work of TechIreland, and the overall levels of innovation around Ireland. Innovation is a notoriously difficult quality to nuture and encourage. Books like this, and events like the upcoming FutureScope event help to keep the importance of these issues in the national consciousness. Grab a copy and keep an eye on what is happening in Ireland, you will be pleasantly surprised.
