Techies4TempleStreet 2020 – Raising support through tech

Techies4TempleStreet 2020 is set to hit the streets of Dublin on Friday, 18th September.

The physical and virtual corporate treasure trail, proudly supported by lead sponsor AIB, has a new format to ensure social-distancing and keep all participants safe.

The event will see teams from some of Ireland’s leading companies make their way across the city to chase clues, solve puzzles and complete a whole range of challenges and brain-teasers.

This is the hope of claiming the title of ‘Ireland’s Smartest Techies’ – an accolade that went to ‘Zen Mob’, representing Zendesk, in 2019.

Teams will join together online after the event to take a look back at the day’s fun, enjoy some delicious food and games and to hear who has won the Techies4TempleStreet 2020 Trophy.

Techies4TempleStreet 2020

Now in its sixth year, Techies4TempleStreet will see teams of five from Ireland’s technology and business communities compete to win the coveted Trophy.

As well as being a fun-filled and exciting event, T4TS is an ideal team-building day as colleagues combine brain power to gain points, complete challenges, and bid to win the trophy.

To date, the unique charity treasure trail has raised over €1.1million for CHI at Temple Street, with funds being put to work where they are needed most to buy vital, life-saving equipment and help fund essential facilities and supports benefitting sick children and their families when they need it most.

This event raises vital funds every year to support the incredible, life-saving work that happens in CHI at Temple Street every minute of every day. More than ever, the hospital needs your support and hope that Ireland’s tech and business sectors will once again come out on 18th September to take part in this unique and truly worthy cause.”

The funds raised at this year’s Techies4TempleStreet will go to support little patients and their families in CHI at Temple Street and will help support the essential, life-saving work that happens in our hospital, every minute of every day.
