TechFoundHer Boot Camp Returns for Second Year

Following a sellout inaugural event in 2023, TechFoundHer Bootcamp returns on April 16th in a new venue, Dublin City Hall, with a limited number of tickets now on sale.

TechFoundHer is on a mission to empower women to start and lead tech companies. The one-day highly interactive event brings together women tech leaders, founders and supporters as speakers, panellists and champions to share insights and practical guidance on how to create successful technology products and services.

2024’s Boot Camp builds on themes from 2023 with topics such as:

• Meet the AI Revolutionaries: The women leading the way and harnessing the power of AI to create a new and better world.

• Building Moon Shots: Spotlighting the women who are trailblazers who are aiming high and confronting the limitations put on women in tech, by ourselves and others.

• Decoding the Coder: Attendees will learn practical ’how-to’ takeaways on unlocking the potential of tech for product innovation and tackling gender bias in the industry.

The organisation is led by founder Máirín Murray, and Vicky Twomey-Lee, one of Dublin’s prominent coding community builders.

“There has been huge momentum with our network over the past year. It’s proof that women founders are eager to make a difference.  Women are massively under-represented as the founders of tech companies. This has to change. Tech has no gender. The purpose of the bootcamp is to showcase women tech founders and to show others that tech is for everyone- you don’t have to be a coder to create a product.  We can all learn how to create tech products when the inspiration and supports are in place,” said Murray.

The TechFoundHer Boot Camp, backed by Dublin City Council, is seeking to champion more founders from non-tech backgrounds who are involved in creating a tech product or platform.

The high-energy event will facilitate an inclusive, interactive, social space with a mix of participative workshops, Q&A panels and speakers to support female founders to become more tech-savvy and equip them with industry know-how to move forward with their tech product or service idea.

Following the growth of the TechFoundHer Community to over 500, Boot Camp organisers are urging those who are interested in attending to purchase their place without hesitation.

General tickets are available for €90 and can be purchased here.

A limited number of tickets will be available for €50 for those who are pre-revenue or bootstrapped.

Once again, the TechFoundHer Company tickets for €500 also support and help cover the event cost and enable us to  “Pay It Forward”  and offer the other discounted tickets.

The ticket price covers event logistics and organisation costs.
