TechBBQ postponed physically, but moves forward digitally

Adapting to the current situation while still bringing the community a valuable event also means trying something new this year: TechBBQ Digital.

TechBBQ exists to bring together the Danish and Nordic startup ecosystems under one roof to showcase their entrepreneurs and companies, and show the world that the Nordic Way of doing things can work for everyone. However, we all know that this year has not been the same as other years.

The health and safety of TechBBQ’s team, startups, partners, and attendees is their number one priority, and as such they understand that hosting a live event with 8000+ attendees from around the world is not currently a viable or responsible option.

So after having carefully listened to the advice from the brightest of minds in the health sector, they have decided to scoot their yearly summit to 2021. We know lots of questions might pop up, and that is why we have collected a list of frequently asked questions via this link: TechBBQ FAQs.

But it is not all bad news! It certainly isn’t your everyday task to convert a physical summit into a digital equivalent. Especially because they want that special TechBBQ fuzz and vibe to be present as well. Thankfully the team are forward-thinkers, and that means they see that new developments require new solutions.

To this end they have decided to keep September 2020 something to look forward to, and that is why they’re going to host TechBBQ Digital on September 17th and 18th, from the comfort of your home.

“TechBBQ is an incredible event by and for our community. It would be a disservice to that community to postpone our physical event without having something to fill the space — that’s why I’m so proud of the TechBBQ team for adapting to the situation and putting together TechBBQ Digital. We’ll miss you at Øksnehallen this year, but we’ll see you there — live and in person — next summer!” – Sam Eshrati, TechBBQ COO

Ticket registration and announcement of the program and platforms will begin August 1st 2020.
