After increasing their workforce from 20 to 70 in the last two years, making them the fastest growing SaaS workforce in Ireland, Teamwork.com today announced the continued expansion with the announcement of 50 jobs bringing the total number of employees to 120 in their Cork HQ by the end of 2017.
Teamwork.com, who develop business management applications, are Ireland’s most profitable SaaS company whose clients include PayPal, eBay, Disney, Forbes and Spotify. There are over 268,000 companies using Teamwork.com products across the globe with almost 2.8 million users.
Speaking about the hires, Peter Coppinger, co-founder, CEO and lead developer of Teamwork.com, said:
“We have just spent the last 9 months completely rebuilding our core product making it faster and more modern. This would not have been possible without our talented team of developers. Here at Teamwork.com, developers make an impact on the product every day which impacts hundreds of thousands of people.”
Out of the 50 jobs being hired, 40 of them are for experienced developer roles including:
Front End Developers
Android Developers
Teamwork Desk Developers
iOS Developers
Teamwork Projects Developers
Integrations Developers
New Product Developers
The remaining roles to be filled will be Sales, Support and back office support staff who will assist the growing team.
In January 2016, Teamwork.com switched to being an open book company where everyone can see the top line growth figures. Coppinger believes,
“Everyone in the company should think like an owner. Employees have the potential to double their salary and they have input in the profit-sharing incentives. We have one key metric for each department which gives employees a sense of ownership. If we miss a quarterly target, we can make it up later.”
Julie Sinnamon, CEO, Enterprise Ireland said: “Enterprise Ireland has worked closely with Teamwork over the years to support them in their global ambition to grow a strong international customer base. As a significant employer in the Cork region, it is a great pleasure to see this highly innovative SaaS company go from strength-to-strength with further plans for expansion and recruitment here in Ireland. Enterprise Ireland will continue to work with Teamwork as it expands its global customer base and we wish the company every success for the future.”
